On 12 November the BSAM and its Ukrainian National Hub will host a national workshop entitiled 'Blue economy strategy for the Black Sea: Ukrainian contribution' from 10:00 to 14:30 EET.

A sustainable blue economy is essential to achieving the objectives of the European Green Deal and ensuring a green and inclusive recovery from the pandemic, and therefore this online webinar aims to kickstart the elaboration of a blue economy action plan for Ukraine.

With speakers from the European Commission, the Ukrainian government and state agencies as well as national and regional stakeholder organisations, discussions will cover a wide range of sectors' (e.g., environmental protection, transport, aquaculture) potential contributions to advancing these key goals for the Common Maritime Agenda for the Black Sea at a national level in Ukraine.
