EMD in My Country events are grassroots initiatives, organized by local actors all around the EU and its neighbourhood countries promoting ocean literacy, ocean activism and awareness about sustainable blue economy.
With 68,000 km of coastline and one-third of the EU population residing within 50 km of the coast, the ocean is an integral part of the EU’s economy and cultural heritage.
