Dr. Kasirga has 35 years of diverse experience in process design of water and wastewater treatment facilities. His technical background focuses on water quality management, advanced water and wastewater treatment technologies, nutrient removal and recovery systems, process control strategies, membrane filtration, seawater and brackish water desalination, biosolids management, feasibility studies, pilot plants, pump stations, start-up and O&M, odor control systems. He has numerous presentations in international conferences and he is the principal author of EPA’s “Emerging Technologies for Wastewater Treatment” and “Emerging Technologies for Biosolids Management”. He served in WERF’s Project Steering Committee for research projects and currently providing technical support for preparation of a new design manual for AWWA.
