During the Regional Stakeholders Conference “Towards CMA projects for a resilient and sustainable blue economy in the Black Sea, under the Turkish Coordination (2021) a number of project concepts that have already emerged across the CMA's goals and priorities, will be discussed in order to stimulate their further developments.
The outcomes of the conference will provide valuable bottom-up inputs to CMA implementation for the year 2022 and beyond.
The 2 project concepts focusing on 'Healthy marine and coastal ecosystems' that will be discussed to foster dialogue for further synergies are:
- Establish a network between existing Marine Protected Areas (MPAs)
- Foster digitalisation and maritime high-tech devices for water/air/environment quality and safety monitoring issues
